What We Provide

Our equipment is geared to team building events on a large scale, more teams more money and fun for you. Also everybody can take part, we use large costumes an everybody can dressed up in the entertainment spots. People with disabilities can take part with the games after the inflatables. We do use costumes and customized props. If children are taking part with adults they must be over 1m tall and will be placed at the front or in groups of similar age or in their own groups.We are proud to be the first company to involve cabaret entertainment and D.J's within a Knockout event. We give excellent value for money and can manage 18/36 teams of 10/12 contestants with ease in any one three hour show.

Everything is provided for your event, including all medals for winners, cups , trophys and a certificate for everybody taking part . Plus a big finale at the end of the show.

Knockout Roadshow is based on TV’s popular “It’s a Knockout”, and can be used as a central theme for a Corporate Event, Team Building Challenge, Charity Fundraiser or Family Gala Day. We have been established for over 17 years, providing corporate events for many blue chip companies. Our level of personal service and professionalism is what sets us apart from other Knockout companies. We are proud to present our show at any arena whether it is a grand stadium or a local village fete, our fresh presentation style is unique and guarantees an all action FUN PACKED day for all ages for contestants and the audience alike. You do not have to be an athlete to take part as points are awarded on the games after the inflatables. So there are inflatable games then games and more games at the stage.

Teams

More teams , more money . We suggest teams be structured between 6 and 10 players . For large number we suggest mixed teams male and female. The games are designed to accommadate 3 teams per inflatable . If we have 18 teams per show , teams will be in groups of 6 . Six teams will go to inflatable one , 6 teams will go to inflatable 2 and 6 teams will go to inflatable 3 . We all then meet back at the stage . Then 6 teams will go to inflatable 4 , 6 tems to inflatable 5 and 6 teams to inflatable 6 .Then it's back to stage and we all swap round and keep going round the course until everybody has done all the inflatable . 6 teams will be going through to the semi final from and 4 teams will be in the final.

Running Order

Teams registration takes place one hour before the event starts.Teams are then lined up outside the arena and introduced one by one into the arena with our 3m tall costumes.They are all given a health and safety talk and a demonstration lined up in front of the stage.The crew are introduced all dressed as characters and the fun begins. Then after every inflatable there is a game where points are awarded. It's then back to stage for the cabaret and more stage games for bonus points. We repeat this throughout the games If we have 18/24 teams they will be divided into groups of 6 and a compere will take them around the course. We all then meet back at the stage, this keeps everyone busy throughout the games instead of people standing around doing nothing and bored. At all times a running commentary between the referee, compere and the studio, it's none stop action.

That's 17 games and 5 or 6 Cabaret acts and 4 Stage Games. Phew!

Some companies and charities like a "after knockout party" where a hog roast is served and plenty of beer in buckets full of ice, knockout roadshow can even do an after party or leave the cool blends of music playing.

What happens?

Knockout roadshow arrive at the venue the day before the event. If possible we will then set up and provide our own security. On the day of the event registration will take place one hour before the start of the show where team captains will hand in their registration packs. Then Let the show begin.

Some venues cannot accommadate our Large H.G.V's which are 11m-40cm Long - 3m-60cm High and 2m-50cm width. We also have smaller lorries 7.5 ton which are more appealing for some organisers. Our larger unit is ideal for festivals and corporate events. We do not take the lorries onto area's like football pitches they would ruin the pitch, they are situated on the sidelines and used as a backdrop/stage, Or they can be placed on hardstanding next to the site. Also no mechanical vehicles are used, all equipment is handballed on our trolleys to minimize damage to the ground. The only evidence we have been there are holes 15mm from the pegs that hold the inflatables down. This keeps all groundsmen very happy.

You can expect all our crew members to be polite, helpfull and professional at all times . They are trainedin every aspect of the show. Ensuring the event is entertaining whilst taking care of contestants safety and getting the audience involved.

Our arena set up is also unique. We like to get the audience as close to the games and staging area as possible. This adds more flavour and atmosphereto the show and everybody gets to join in the entertainment, so nobody is left out.

We also have a 9m long Winnibago Itasca whichorganisers and special guests can use as a greenroom. This is ideal for toilets, office and endless cups of tea and snacks. Cabaret unit only .

Fundraising

More teams more money . Sponsorship is also the key . You need to get teams to raise at least £500 each , that's 10 people in a team getting 25 sponsors at £2 each . Do not cap it at £500 let the teams raise as much as possible and maybe a prize could be given whoever raises the most . Companies like banks, supermarkets , football and rugby teams, hairdressers, they all love to take part. If they cannot take part how about asking them to sponsor one of the games send a list out, like a wedding list , somebody may even sponsor the whole event . Some companies double what their staff have raised and are very keen to do a team building day, some even have a budget for it.

Organisers can download all the rules , regulations and disclaimers direct from the front page of our website www.itsaknockout.com. This is password protected and once you have made your booking you can access all the information.Or you could ask the captains of each team to download them and get the whole team to sign them and bring them along on the day, this will save a lot of time on the day of the event for registration.Teams like to customize their downloaded entry forms it's a lot of fun and gets everybody involved.Organisers should also take a deposit from every team .

Entertainment

Entertainment plays a major part in our shows . Dave John B has been a entertainer since stage school in the 70's. www.davejohnb.com. Contestants line up in their teams after every inflatable game to gain BONUS points . These are awarded to the teams contribution and they have to copy our artistes on stage . This keeps the show fast moving and electric also a good laugh for the audience. The arena is set in a way that the audience can cheer thierfavorite team on at the inflatables and at the stage .Remember we were the first company to introducethis type of entertainment into It's a knockout . All theacts are performed on our 35ft staging unit.

The "Ultimate" Show

Do you require the "ULTIMATE SHOW " . We can supply around 17 inflatables, complete with amazing inflatable tunnels with open sides for spectators and various uses. Private and extra large changing rooms also ideal for all weather situations. The kiddies corner is also included with operators. This show requires the size of a football pitch to operate and 3000 gallons of water. We can cater for large numbers of teams per show. This show requires 4 HGV lorries and 14 crew members. Prices start from £6400.00 + Vat.

Your responsibilites

You must provide an arena that is a flat, cut grassy area ideally 70yds x 50yds but we can be flexible, which is for our sole use only. The site should have good vehicle access, no overhanging trees or very steep hills for our two 17 ton lorries (around the size of a bus, Cabaret Unit Only ) and 7.5 ton lorries are used for the wet and wild unit, and if possible be near a fire hydrant or water supply. You may also ask the fire brigade to fill our pool we use approx 1500 Gallon. We can also use a water tap no further than 100m from the arena.As with all sporting events you must also supply first aid for the day. We can supply this for you for around £250 per day.

You must also supply the teams, more teams more money for your charity. Some charities now demand £1000 per team, so if you got 18 teams, that's £18,000 plus any sponsorship.
