Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, completely free of charge, to people across Wrexham, Flintshire, East Denbighshire, the A494 corridor to Barmouth, and the borders, including Oswestry, Ellesmere, Wem and Whitchurch.  Nightingale House Hospice needs £2.46 million in 2011 in order to continue providing palliative care, free of charge to the local community.  The Hospice only receives 19% of this funding from the local health authority, which is only enough to fund the Hospice for 72 days.  The remaining money has to come from the fundraising we do with the support of the local community.
