Why are we essential for your event?
Throughout the industry there are lots of different it's a Knockout companies coming into the market, however knockout roadshow pride ourself in being the best at what we do and are one of the longest established in the business. We are unique in the style that we present the show. We don't just provide you with inflatables, we provide you with a bespoke stage, 4 comperes providing running commentary, cabaret entertainment throughout and friendly knockout crew to assist that your event goes smoothly.
How do I arrange the water for my event?
You can ask the Fire Brigade if they are prepared to fill the pools for you. They usually will, especially if the event is raising money for Charity. Occasionally, they will ask you to obtain the permission of the local Water Board. We are quite happy to explain to the Water Board, the nature of the event, what the water is used for, how it is filled and how it is disposed of after the event.
Where can I get First Aid Cover from?
You can generally book the British Red Cross, or St John’s Ambulance. However you must give them a fair amount of notice. Two First Aid personnel is usually enough and there is no need for an ambulance on site.
Can I use our own First Aid trained personnel?
You can but we prefer to have people who have regular “Hands on” experience of First Aid. Also, as the First Aid people have to stay with the "It's a Knockout" all the time, using your own people means that they won’t be as free to enjoy themselves as the rest of the staff attending the event.
What happens if I have to cancel?
Obviously these events take a lot of preparation and we are not able to replace a booking at short notice. Therefore, the deposit is non refundable and the balance is due if you cancel within twelve weeks of the date of the event.
What time do your crew arrive?
For a Saturday event, we try to arrive about 5:00pm on the Friday evening, however, we can give no guarantee, due to the volume of traffic and distance to the event etc.  For a Sunday event, the arrival time will always be different, due to where we are booked for the Saturday. If we are not arriving at an unsociable hour, you should arrange for someone to meet us at the event location, preferably with a mobile telephone. Our drivers will keep in touch close to the arrival time so that you will know when we are due and can show us the exact location to set up if we haven’t been to the location before.
Does the hire fee cover personal injury?
No. Our public liability insurance is for negligence. If you want personal injury insurance you must arrange this yourself or we can give you the telephone number of Knockout’s insurance broker.
